Growing up in the 1970’s, Adam West was the only Batman I knew. There was no other. Sure there was Olan Soule, from the Super Friends, but still. I was one of the few who didn’t make fun of the original series when the 1989 movie came out. Everybody I know did. I still loved it. There was room in my fandom for both, and there still is. Thanks for the memories, Bat and otherwise, Adam. You shall be missed.

I "write" about what I like, not what I dislike. A lifelong student of Budō (武道/忍法, 詠春拳, and 陳式 太極拳), I also enjoy a great Judō match. Other than that, I am a sci-fi & fantasy fan, through and through (too me, comic books & cartoons fall well within those two categories too). My tastes in reading, watching, playing, as well as pretending are varied. If I had to pick one place to hang my geek hat, it would have to be Star Wars, but I do love it all. Having said that, I never really got into Harry Potter, or Zombies. You won't catch me criticizing those who dig those genres. It's all good :) Live long, Prosper, and May the Force be with You... Always. View all posts by Mr. Multiverse
