So here at Quantum Multiverse, as you might have discovered, we are geeks. As geeks we partake in geek media. No surprises there 😉 This is just a list of current shows, TV-YouTube-Netflix-Amazon Prime-ETC, that keep us going. There are movies, audio books/plays, Podcasts (& SMODcasts), Comics, Blog posts, Books, Toys, Games, and what-not that are also a factor. I may get to breaking those down at some point but this is a simple and easily digested post and a good place to begin.
At first I didn’t like this version of the TMNT. I was a huge fan of the 2003 version of the show. After a few episodes I was sold. The show pays homage to old cartoon, including the 2003 version of the title.
This is one of those shows that I can watch all the way through the eight seasons and then start it all over again.
Although not as good (doesn’t even touch it) as the previous Avengers cartoon, this has just enough obscure characters involved that keeps my interest, for the most part.
Chuck is a fun, Sci-Fi take on a Nerd gaining superhuman abilities. As the intersect, Chuck, is a powerful tool in the international spy scene.
I’ve fallen behind on my view of this show but it is a pretty great show about a young Ninja who’s actual special ability is turning foes into friends.
This show was my weekly go-to show about Star Wars news for a year now. The host, Ken Napzok, is moving on to bigger and better things but I’ll keep tuning in to see what the Popcorn Network has in store.
I found RetroBlasting on YouTube in the Autumn of 2014. I can’t say enough great things about this channel. They cover a very wide variety of vintage toys, cartoons and movies. The sardonic wit and the clever comedic element is what keeps me coming back for more of their videos. I now know shit about My Little Pony than I ever knew I wanted to know. #RetroBlasting has reinforced my geekness, affirmed my nerdiness, and informed my dorkieness. For that, I thank them.
A great YouTube channel that contains the Jedi Council and more.
We recently began our Amazon Prime account and this is one of the shows that we stream from there. I like it better than the original Stargate SG-1 for the depth that it has.
Wonder Woman! Another MeTV Saturday night staple. Lynda Carter was one of my first crushes and her smile still makes my evening better. My wife has that effect on me every day 🙂
Kevin Smith and the guys at the Secret Stash in New Jersey. I can’t get enough of this program.
Since Top Gear (BBC) is now defunct, I found a new appreciation for classic cars and the art that Danny’s crew can create with them.
This one is fun to make fun of. Saturday nights on MeTV has a block of time reserved for this great old show.
I am speechless. THIS is Daredevil. It’s like Frank Miller opened up his arteries and out sprang this Netflix series, magically.
The oldies are still the best. This series holds a special place in my heart and in my Netflix que. I’ll also watch it on Saturday nights on MeTV (over the air digital antenna channel)
This show is still one of the best written and directed shows of its kind. It could almost be a story created by Stan Lee. I watch this on Netflix, over and over.
