   Greetings, True Believers!

Today we bid a fond farewell to Marvel’s Avengers Alliance. September 30th marks the final day of this wonderfully simple game. I, for one, will miss it.

The Vision vs. Red Tornado: Battle of the Droids?

VvRT

We recently had a reveal of the new Red Tornado (August 1968) that will be appearing on the Supergirl TV show, airing on CBS soon. While they are both androids they are very different. For the new or casual viewer, that may be moot. All red skinned androids are the same to the non-geek public. I know, I am as shocked as you are that there are still some hold-outs to the Geek lifestyle. I can’t stress enough about the fact that this probably won’t be the final look for the Red Tornado. Pardon the pun but it just won’t fly with the community. The Vision (October 1968) was executed perfectly on the big screen, and while the screen may be smaller our expectations, as geeks, are not. Both have a long history, and both have a legacy that predates the characters themselves, one has been honored and we’ll soon see if the other follows suit.

Who else out there can’t wait to see this old/new character to take to the airwaves?

T-Shirt Tuesday! Reflections of a Mad Titan

Inspired by the Norman Rockwell painting, this shows 3 characters who are oddly similar. Can you find all the Easter Eggs in this one?

The Shows that, Currently, Drive Quantum Multiverse.

So here at Quantum Multiverse, as you might have discovered, we are geeks. As geeks we partake in geek media. No surprises there 😉 This is just a list of current shows, TV-YouTube-Netflix-Amazon Prime-ETC, that keep us going. There are movies, audio books/plays, Podcasts (& SMODcasts), Comics, Blog posts, Books, Toys, Games, and what-not that are also a factor. I may get to breaking those down at some point but this is a simple and easily digested post and a good place to begin.

Marvel’s Secret Wars (2015)… Wake Me Up When It Is Over.

If you are following, or attempting to follow, the current Secret Wars on the insane melting pot called “Battle World” then you understand the need to just shut your brain off and hit cruise control until the end is nigh. Too many domains, too many tie-ins and way too damn many Manhattans. Check out the above video to catch up on the geography of Battle World. I was looking forward to the new Secret Wars but I am thinking that the final outcomes will be more interesting that following the story as a whole. I will admit that I am falling behind in my weekly reading, including Convergence, but the sheer number of new books, new stories, and new realities are taking their toll on this haggard old geek.
