The Resistance is a weekly podcast devoted to Star Wars. Justin Seeley breaks down the latest happenings in the Star Wars universe, such as upcoming films, reviewing films of the past, discussing fan theories, and interviewing special guests from around the galaxy. If you’re into Star Wars, this is the podcast you’re looking for!
I wait for this podcast each week. Podcasts are life for me in my daily occupation. His former podcast, Star Wars Collectors Galaxy, was a favorite collector focused show of mine for the last year. Vintage was a huge reason why that was. Just brings just as much interest in the area of modern as well as vintage. He a knowledgeable, nice guy, who has a great presence behind the mic. Give him a listen…
While most of the world, and even geekdom, just spends November 17th like it would any other day, I enjoy the gift of Star Wars. The magic and wonder that was instilled in me back in May of 1977 hasn’t faded. There are many dates that we can celebrate the galaxy, far, far away, and I do celebrate the 4th of May along with the anniversaries. It is silly? Sure. Is made up foolishness? Yep, but so is EVERYTHING else that doesn’t involve natural means (sleep, eat, etc…). I don’t apologize for enjoying what I enjoy and how I choose to enjoy it. Star Wars is something I celebrate every day, but it gets special focus on certain days of the year. November 17th is one of those days.
Did I watch the Holiday Special? No, I just didn’t have enough time. My day included listening to some awesome podcasts, a great Taco Tuesday at work, spending time with my family (my lovely wife, little dog, bird & rabbit) and sharing my love of Star Wars. How did you spend Life Day?
We are less than one month out of the continuation of the saga. Are you ready for The Force Awakens? Yet another cause to celebrate 😉
Back in April of 2013 something great happened that I am just getting around to. Stan Lee being interview by Kevin Smith 🙂 This SModcast is one of many that I am enjoying.
I have to admit that I am a podcast rookie. Recently I started watching Kevin Smith’s AMC show, Comic Book Men on Netflix. This show was so fun and funny that my wife and I watched the first two seasons in one week. I watched them all a few time now. Walt, Bryan, Mike and Ming are very entertaining. If you haven’t seen this show then check it out, it is like a celebration of all things Nerdly in all of Geekdom. The show sparked my interest is some of Kevin’s other works and I’ve rewatched movies that I’ve seen before and ones that I’ve never heard of. This new interests in his work brought me, first, to Jay & Silent Bob’s Secret Stash then on to SModcast. There are over half a dozen sites related to the “View Askewniverse“; when you have time check it all out.
Anyhow… this interview with Stan “The Man” Lee is very awesome. I am a fan of Mr. Lee, I enjoy his positive attitude and professionalism. Nuff Said.
