Jim Henson and the Ninja Turtles

tumblr_ls0x3sO7M51qly3yj

I don’t have much to say about this photo, other than I was going through my, now, decades old  digital archives and ran across this awesome picture. Jim didn’t feel comfortable directing some of the action sequences for the first film, but he did it well and actually enjoyed the experience. He was a great guy who gave us so much. For that reason I felt like sharing this image. Now I feel like watching this one. Sounds like my Sunday movie is is now chosen.

Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo on TMNT

usagi-yojimbo-tmnt-1

Today on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Usagi Yojimbo is featured. This tickles me beyond all feathers! Not only is he the main character, the story is done in a VERY Kurosawa style, AND written by Stan Sakai the creator of Usagi. I’ve always enjoyed the Usagi stories in the comics, and whenever he was brought into any incarnation of the TMNT, but this one is very special. It’s on Google Play right now. Check it out for yourself.

   The ending is incredible ✌😉

Pixel Dan: NECA Turtles Preview

Some great new merch based on the original film. Mrs. Multiverse, and I, want the new baby Turtles set. Pizza! Pizza! So adorable. NECA has really put out some quality products. I wish I could afford them all.

Turtle Power (2014)

pizza-gyoza  This is a wonderful documentary on the full history of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s a great, and informative, watch. You can’t beat the rental price of $2.99 either. I was onboard the TMNT train back in 84, when I discovered the 2nd printing of issue number one at my favorite comic book shop, Comics & Comix, in Citrus Heights, California.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles S4E20

maxresdefault

In the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode (Season 4 – Episode 20), Oroku Saki goes a bit too far with a huge dose of Mutagen. Without spoiling anything, Shredder is now the Super Shredder, not that he calls himself that. A hostage is taken, and Master Splinter must face this threat along side his sons. April does some pretty cool stuff too. Watch it for yourself, here: http://www.nick.com/ninja-turtles/episodes

I give this episode Four Turtles AND a Rat! 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐀

Gatchaman Me ~ G-0, Karasu D

Playing around a bit with my progs last night, and came up with this.

GatchamanMe
G-Zero: Karasu no Darran

From time to time I enjoy placing myself, much like I did when I was an over imaginative youngling, into the worlds that I enjoyed. While my imagination isn’t up to the same high levels of my former self, I find it relaxing to create myself into old favorites.

The Shows that, Currently, Drive Quantum Multiverse.

So here at Quantum Multiverse, as you might have discovered, we are geeks. As geeks we partake in geek media. No surprises there 😉 This is just a list of current shows, TV-YouTube-Netflix-Amazon Prime-ETC, that keep us going. There are movies, audio books/plays, Podcasts (& SMODcasts), Comics, Blog posts, Books, Toys, Games, and what-not that are also a factor. I may get to breaking those down at some point but this is a simple and easily digested post and a good place to begin.
