Creature Spotlight on #StarWars: The Last Jedi Behind The Scenes

My thoughts are below each screenshot. All in all, I really dig the design and execution. This has made me even more excited to see this episode. Check out the official video for yourself here: (1)
I’m reminded of a Miyazaki creature with this one. (2)
This reminds me of the little Sergeant from the Clone Wars series. (3)
For some reason these two must represent a sentient Quokka type creature of the Star Wars universe. A happy photo, every time. (4)
The inclusion of K9 type creatures in cannon is long overdue. (5)
She has style. (6)
With this creature, I am reminded of some of the original Cantina creatures from 1977. (7)
I LOVE this little dude, and I WANT one! (8)
This gives us an idea of its scale.

Google uses tactics from the ‘The Last Starfighter’

It seems that Google uses hiring tactics skimmed from the Sci-Fi classic, ‘The Last Starfighter’. I wonder if Centauri is their lead recruiter?

Google is seldom boring; its hiring strategies can be as refreshing as its product launches. One would assume you get any job through a job board, website with relevant listings or through recruiters, hoping to be asked for a resume, portfolio of some sort and three references. Cut to Google.

The Rest of the Story:

Gallery: Superheroes Done Right

So there I was, again, searching through random image on Google when I came up with the idea to do a post about the WORST attempts at live action Superhero shows ever. Well, I found several lists along with images and the world has enough negative posts about everything.

I decided to post a few images of, what I feel to be, the best executions of  superhero(ish) characters to make it to the small screen. I won’t list (Green) Arrow, the Flash, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or the bad-assness of Dare Devil, since they all go without saying that they are some of the best shows to date based on comic book material. So without further ado I bring you, in no particular order, my favorite heroes that can be found on television.
